  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Hub

Hubs (for example, Programs, Projects, and Submittals) provide you with a set of tools, applications, and reports to help you manage all aspects of your data. You can access them via the Navigation Pane.

Missing Snapshot

A missing snapshot is a project submittal that was not uploaded in the Submittals view by the Window Close Date.

Program

A program contains one or more projects and is used to standardize acceptance criteria and benchmark attributes across all associated projects. This allows you to maintain the same standard across many projects and to evaluate multiple projects based on the same criteria and benchmarks.

Projects Hub

Use the Projects hub to view all of the projects in Touchstone to which you have access as well as the program to which they are associated. You can also add, edit, or delete projects, and enter benchmark attribute values.

Schedule

A project schedule is what you upload for a submittal.

Score

The ability to score schedule quality, execution performance, risk modeling, use of logic and more is a key feature of Touchstone and allows project teams to determine how best to assess their portfolio or schedule health.

Touchstone calculates the score for the uploaded schedule based on the acceptance criteria metrics that are defined at the project level. The score determines whether an uploaded schedule is accepted or rejected.

Status

This is the status of the uploaded schedule and can be one of the following:
  • <Blank>
  • Accepted

  • Rejected

  • Missing
  • Processing

You can see the status in the Submittals view and on the Projects Snapshot tab.

Submittals

A submittal is a snapshot of a schedule at a given point in time that you upload using the Submittals hub. It includes analysis of the uploaded schedule such as metric score and percent complete, as well as the schedule itself.

Window Close Date

Each project row in the Submittals hub grid includes a Window Close Date. This is the date by which you must have your schedule uploaded. That is, you have until 11:59pm the day before this date to upload your schedule.
